About Ergolux

Built on a simple premise.

Ergo — operations. Lux — light. We exist to bring clarity, discipline, and structural integrity to the way independent businesses run, and to prove that lean, well-documented operations can outperform brute-force capital.

Ergolux is an operations-first enterprise. We've managed operations for a range of technology and service companies and seen the same pattern repeat: large, well-capitalized organizations can afford to hide structural waste behind their budgets. Smaller, independent businesses can't — and don't need to, if their workflows are designed well.

We're starting close to home, in the Ann Arbor region, with hands-on service verticals that businesses and households rely on directly. Over time, each vertical will operate under its own name and brand, while Ergolux remains the operating company behind them — applying the same process discipline, documentation standards, and quality targets across every line of business.

In parallel, we're developing operations management software to help the businesses we work with run more efficiently.

  • 01

    Process before capital

Efficiency comes from documented, repeatable workflows — not from outspending the problem.

  • 02

    Independent verticals, shared discipline

Each business line carries its own brand and customer relationship, built on the same operational standard.

  • 03

    Measured, not marketed

Every vertical publishes real operating targets — landfill diversion, print tolerance, turnaround time — and is held to them.

In Development

Operations management software, built process-first.

We're building a platform that maps a business's actual workflows first, then helps fill the gaps — rather than forcing operations into a rigid, generic tool.

  • Maps your organization's real process flow, not a generic template
  • Designed to connect to a network of vetted partner services as it matures
  • Currently in development, ahead of private alpha access

We're keeping a list for forward-thinking B2B partners who want to know as soon as private alpha access opens up.

About the Founder

Brendon Kerkhoff

Founder, Ergolux

Brendon Kerkhoff founded Ergolux to help organizations build stronger, more reliable systems. Based in Ann Arbor, Brendon is a technology leader, software developer, and operations strategist who holds an MBA. Throughout his career building and consulting for diverse businesses, he has operated on a simple principle: true efficiency comes from designing clear, documented workflows that empower employees, not from throwing capital at problems.

Having managed operations for numerous technology companies, Brendon saw how easily large, highly capitalized organizations use massive budgets to hide structural waste. He launched Ergolux to deliver elite operational strategy to businesses that need to run lean, adapt quickly, and compete. He focuses on optimizing workflows through smart technology, precise process mapping, and proactive documentation.

By combining technology operations with a commitment to sustainable, community-focused resource management, Brendon ensures that Ergolux helps clients build reliable foundations to scale and succeed.

Cooperative Network

A business built to be run with people, not just for them.

Internally, Ergolux is structured to give the people doing the work a real say in how it's done. As we grow past our founding team, we intend to bring on collaborators under a cooperative model rather than a purely top-down one.

There are no open positions right now — we're a very early-stage company. If that model resonates with you, we'd rather hear from you now and keep in touch than post a listing before we're ready to hire.
